Memorandum of understanding between Banca d'Italia, CONSOB and IVASS on alternative dispute resolution

Banca d'Italia, CONSOB and IVASS signed a memorandum of understanding on alternative dispute resolution to strengthen cooperation among the three authorities in this area and promote a customer protection framework that is increasingly integrated, accessible and aligned with evolving market developments and the public's needs.

The memorandum of understanding facilitates the exchange of information, discussion on issues of common interest and the implementation of joint initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms, i.e. the Banking and Financial Ombudsman - Arbitro Bancario Finanziario, ABF - at Banca d'Italia; the Securities and Financial Ombudsman - Arbitro per le Controversie Finanziarie, ACF - at CONSOB; and the Insurance Ombudsman - Arbitro Assicurativo, AAS - at IVASS.
