'Meet the Bank of Italy' events are back
This is a series of initiatives aimed at increasing public awareness of the tasks and functions of Italy's central bank.
During these events, experts and journalists debate and interact with the audience on the following topics:
- Stability in the financial sector and protection for consumers of banking and financial services;
- Innovations in the payments sector, FinTech and crypto-assets;
- Statistics for economic analysis;
- Monetary policy and currency stability.
The first meeting of the September 2019-June 2020 cycle will be held at the Bank's Catanzaro Branch.

The 'Meet the Bank of Italy' initiative is a forum for dialogue with members of the public set up to discuss the Bank of Italy’s activities, tasks and objectives, with the aim of dispelling doubts or popular misconceptions and of answering questions in an open, simple and direct way.
