'InViaggio con la Banca d'Italia' is back with two days on financial literacy in L'Aquila
On June 8 and 9, 2026, L'Aquila will host a new lap of 'In viaggio con la Banca d'Italia', the itinerant project dedicated to promoting financial literacy and fostering a dialogue with citizens, institutions, and the local territory.
The two-day programme centres around the theme Più cultura Finanziaria - conoscenza che crea valore. It will kick off on June 8 with an Open Day at Banca d'Italia's branch in L'Aquila, featuring guided tours, workshops, and information desks to introduce citizens to the activities Banca d'Italia holds locally and its financial education initiatives.
On June 9 at 9.30 am, the Bank's L'Aquila branch will also host the meeting Occhio alle truffe, focusing on fraud prevention and payment security, with in-depth insights into the consumer protection tools available to citizens.
In the afternoon of June 9 at 4.00 pm, the Auditorium del Parco will host the event Più cultura Finanziaria - conoscenza che crea valore, featuring three sessions for discussion with prominent figures from the world of economics and of communication:
- The first session will focus on the relationship between financial literacy and the quality of information.
- The second session will emphasize the contribution of financial literacy to social inclusion.
- The final session will offer a practical reflection on the channels, methods, and tools needed to spread financial literacy.
All events are part of the 'L'Aquila capitale della cultura 2026' programme, aiming to highlight the value of culture as a lever for the growth of individuals and communities.
