Focus session on the potential use of new technology for wholesale central bank money settlement

On Friday 15 December, the ECB held a virtual focus session on the use of new technology for wholesale central bank money settlement. During the session, which followed the call for expression of interest published on 13 December, the interoperability-type solutions for the Eurosystem's exploratory work were illustrated, including the TIPS Hash-Link solution developed by Banca d'Italia.
