Fabrizio Saccomanni confirmed Director General for a second term

The Board of Directors, acting on a proposal from the Governor, confirmed for a second term Fabrizio Saccomanni as Director General of the Bank of Italy. According to the Statute of the Bank, this reappointment must be approved by a decree of the President of the Republic acting on a proposal from the President of the Council of Ministers in agreement with the Minister for the Economy and Finance after consulting the Council of Ministers.
