Fabio Panetta chair of the BIS Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures

Fabio Panetta, member of the ECB's Executive Board and incoming Governor of the Bank of Italy as of 1 November 2023, has been appointed chair of the BIS Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures.
