Economic developments in the Italian regions. Short-term dynamics and structural features, No. 24 - November 2012

The autumn update of Economic Developments in the Italian Regions shows that during the first 9 months of 2012 economic activity has decreased in all parts of Italy; in the regions of the South it is now at its lowest since the spring 2009. In the rest of the country, output was partly sustained by the expansion of exports.

The monographic studies consist in inquiries on households' consumption, employment conditions for young people, the geographical divide in education, bank-firm relations, households' debt and financial vulnerability, and the investment of Italian municipalities.
