The Computer Emergency Response Team for the Italian financial sector - a public-private cooperation initiative for countering cyber risk co-chaired by the Bank of Italy and the Italian Banking Association (Certfin) is working alongside the Italian national police force in the new cyber awareness campaign promoted by Europol and the European Banking Association for 2021.
The campaign, called Cyber Scams 2.0, aims to inform citizens and businesses about how digital frauds are perpetrated and to give advice to prevent frauds and identity thefts.
