Cybersecurity: A strategy for the G7 financial sector

The G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors today issued the general principles (‘fundamental elements’) to strengthen financial system cybersecurity.

The general principles seek to provide a cybersecurity strategy and framework for public and private entities.

Next year the G7 will be chaired by Italy, which will promote additional initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity in the G7 economies.
