This publication reports the main findings of the Regional Bank Lending Survey for the second half of 2023, conducted by the Bank of Italy's regional branches on a sample of 244 banks.
The survey examines the demand for loans by households and firms and the credit supply policies of banks. The analysis is disaggregated by geographical area and economic sector. It reports also some characteristics of household mortgages.
