Conference on 'Macroeconomic Modelling in Times of Uncertainty'

On 24 and 25 September 2026 Banca d'Italia hosted the conference 'Macroeconomic Modelling in Times of Uncertainty', which has brought together economists from academia and leading central banks to discuss the frontiers of macroeconomic modelling in a context marked by recurrent shocks, persistent uncertainty, and non-linear risks.

Chiara Scotti, Banca d'Italia Deputy Governor, opened the conference with a welcome address.
