Conference on 'Laying the Groundwork for Jobs in Africa'
On 4 March 2026, Banca d'Italia will host a conference on 'Laying the Groundwork for Jobs in Africa: Core Infrastructure & Business Environments' at Palazzo Koch in Rome, which will start at 4:15 p.m., The event has been organized by the World Bank and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
The conference will be opened by Fabio Panetta, Governor of Banca d'Italia, followed by speeches by Giorgia Meloni, the Italian Prime Minister, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, and Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group.
