Communication to the market on digital operational resilience and advanced artificial intelligence models

Banca d'Italia has published a communication to the market calling on directly supervised financial intermediaries to strengthen the risk management processes and security protocols protecting their ICT systems. This initiative forms part of Banca d'Italia's broader efforts to strengthen the operational resilience of financial intermediaries and is in line with the approach adopted by other European authorities.
