Communication to the market on digital operational resilience and advanced artificial intelligence models

Banca d'Italia has published a communication to the market urging directly supervised intermediaries to adopt the necessary measures to strengthen their risk management processes and security controls in order to protect their IT systems. This initiative is part of Banca d'Italia's ongoing efforts to enhance the operational resilience of intermediaries and is aligned with similar actions undertaken by other European authorities.
