BIS Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures Meeting in Rome

On Tuesday, 5 December, the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI) of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), chaired by Governor Panetta, convened at the Bank of Italy's headquarters in Rome.

The CPMI promotes the safety and efficiency of payment, clearing, settlement, and related arrangements, thereby supporting financial stability and the wider economy.
