Banca d'Italia will take part in 'Intergraf Currency+Identity 2025', to be held in Milan from 5 to 7 March. The conference will focus on technological innovations in security printing, the environmental sustainability of processes, and the role of digital technologies in this field. The event will be attended by manufacturers, central banks, and government and law enforcement authorities from around the world. Banca d'Italia will present the application of generative artificial intelligence in banknote design. Additionally, there will be a booth showcasing institutional activities in the areas of banknote design, development and production.
