Banca d'Italia endorses the ESCB & SSM Shared Values Charter

To mark World Values Day, Banca d'Italia reaffirms its commitment to the Shared Values Charter adopted by the central banks and supervisory authorities of the European Union. The Charter sets out a common vision of the principles that underpin organizational culture and guide relationships among the people who work in these institutions.

The Charter is built around four core values: trust, growth mindset, care and engagement. Developed through a participatory process involving organizations from across Europe, it provides a common framework for central banks and supervisory authorities seeking to foster working environments based on respect, collaboration, professional growth and recognition of everyone's contribution.

Banca d'Italia's commitment to these principles forms part of its broader efforts to promote an open, inclusive and people-centred organizational culture, in line with the values shared at the European level and with the aim of fostering well-being, job quality and professional development.
