On 28 and 29 September, a seminar was held to examine the procedural rules of the Banking and Financial Ombudsman, the Securities and Financial Ombudsman and the new Ombudsman for insurance-related disputes.
The seminar, which was attended by officials from the three Authorities, follows on from the Banca d'Italia-Consob Memorandum of Understanding of last March and strengthens cooperation with IVASS ahead of the launch of the alternative dispute resolution system for insurance customers.
