Banca d'Italia hosts the 7th Conference on 'Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Economics, Finance and Central Banking', jointly organized with the European Central Bank, the Bank of Canada, the Bank of England, Banco de España and Banque de France.

The conference aims to foster dialogue between academia and policy institutions on cutting-edge research and on policies and practices related to diversity, equity and inclusion in economics, finance and central banking.

The event brings together presentations of research papers selected through a call for papers, alongside keynote talks and panel discussions featuring representatives from central banks and human resources professionals, thus fostering a dialogue on the implications of scientific evidence for institutional policies and practices.

The programme also features keynote lectures by Annamaria Lusardi (Stanford University) and Alexandra Roulet (INSEAD).
