Governor Panetta chairs the first meeting of the Committee for macroprudential policies

The Committee for Macroprudential Policies, composed of the Governor of the Bank of Italy, who chairs it, and the Presidents of Consob, Covip, and Ivass, meets for the first time. The Director General of the Treasury also attends the meetings.
