The Bank of Italy, in partnership with the International Association for Research in Income and Wealth (IARIW), will be hosting a special conference on "Financial Markets, Central Banks and Inequality". The event will take place in Naples on March 29-April 1, 2023, health conditions and travel restrictions permitting.
The objective of this special IARIW-BoI conference will be to discuss the distributive consequences of central bank activities, and financial markets more generally, as well as to analyse the channels through which income and wealth inequalities affect the transmission of monetary policy.
