To discuss the issue of governance, the results achieved by the banks and the actions to be taken to enhance the effectiveness and functionality of the corporate bodies, the Bank of Italy has organized, on Tuesday, September 25th a Conference entitled "Corporate governance and the sound and prudent management of banks", with the participation of representatives of the major banking groups, the associations, other supervisory authority, academia and the professions.
