On 30 November Jeremy Stein of Harvard University will deliver the tenth Paolo Baffi Lecture on Money and Finance, with a paper entitled "Central Banking and Financial Stability." The Bank of Italy instituted the Baffi Lectures as a forum for original work by eminent scholars on monetary and financial questions.
