In the framework of its annual programme of cooperation with central banks of emerging economies, the Bank of Italy has organized a seminar in Rome on the latest international developments in performing the statistical function.
The seminar provided an overview of the statistical production process in a central bank, analysing the different phases of this statistical process - from data collection to data dissemination - and some specific statistical products (balance of payments, money and banking statistics, financial accounts, surveys).
