The workshop is jointly organized by Bank of Italy, Fondazione Masi, the Department of Economics of Ca' Foscari University of Venice and the Venice International University, will be held in Venice, on November 25-27.
China's growing importance in the world economy has spurred in recent years the research of several Italian and foreign economists within institutions and universities. In particular, the following issues will be analyzed more in depth:

- Governance and financial market reforms
- Environment and sustainable development
- Economic ties between China and Italy
