A conference on "The Harmonization of Payment Services: the Implementation of Directive 2007/64/EC" will take place on 11 and 12 June 2009 at the Bank of Italy. The conference is organized by the Bank of Italy's Legal Department together with the Universities of Siena and Foggia, Federico II University of Naples and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Italian and foreign scholars and representatives of the banking industry will present papers to the conference.
The proceedings will begin on Thursday, 11 June, at 3:00 p.m. in the Shareholder Meeting Room of the Bank of Italy's Head Office in 91 Via Nazionale, Rome. They will conclude the following day at 5:30 p.m.
