The European Banking Authority (EBA) has launched public consultations on two draft regulatory technical standards and on a discussion paper in the field of retail payment services, on the basis of the mandates conferred on the EBA by the Regulation on the interchange fees (Regulation (EU) 2015/751) and by the revised directive on payment services, expected to enter into force at the beginning of next year.
