Notice concerning the 2022 contribution to the Single Resolution FundStart of the process of collecting contributions and publication of the Clarification form

With reference to the Single Resolution Fund (SRF) 2022 contribution period, the Single Resolution Board (SRB), as a result of the activities of data collection and analysis, has approved the institution-specific ex-ante contribution amounts.

The calculation has been performed in line with the provisions of Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2015/63 and of Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2015/81.

The SRB in its executive session is the Authority entitled to adopt decisions on the amounts of contributions. In the current stage of the contribution process, Bank of Italy, as National Resolution Authority, is responsible for communicating to institutions the contributions due and collecting the final amount of contributions to be paid to the SRF.

For this purpose, institutions are required to pay the contribution due to Bank of Italy, which will transfer to the SRB the amounts collected.

The payment must be made during the period from 23 May 2022 to 27 May 2022, without any delay.

Furthermore, it should be noted that institutions, if interested in requesting clarification on the amount of the 2022 contribution, may refer to the form available at the bottom of this communication (so-called "Clarification form 2022"), which should be completed in all its parts (with the exception of section "E") and forwarded to the SRB at the email address SRB-CONTRIBUTIONS@srb.europa.eu, by 17 June 2022. In this regard, it should be pointed out that the submission of the clarification form to the SRB by the institutions does not in any way determine the suspension of the payment of contributions due for 2022.
