As from 1 January 2016, credit and financial institutions falling within the scope of the Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM) are required to participate to the Single Resolution Fund (SRF) through annual ex-ante contributions, in line with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 806/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 July 2014.
For the 2020 contribution period, as in previous years, the institutions are required to pay one eight of the overall target level of the SRF, as determined by the Single Resolution Board (SRB).
The activities to collect the data for the 2020 contributions calculation have been started. The SRB will perform the calculation, in accordance with the provisions of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/63 and of Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/81.
