As from 1 January 2016, credit and financial institutions of the euro area are required to participate to the Single Resolution Fund (SRF) by annual ex ante contributions, in line with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 806/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 July 2014.
For the 2018 contribution period, as in previous years, institutions are required to pay one eight of the overall target level of the SRF, as determined by the Single Resolution Board (SRB).
It is now necessary to start the activities to collect the data for the 2018 contributions calculation; the SRB will perform the calculation, in accordance with the provisions of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/63.
