European regulations require that national supervisory authorities publish, in accordance with the common framework set out in the Guidelines published by the European Banking Authority:
- supervisory regulations
- the application of national discretions under EU law
- criteria and methodologies for the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP)
- aggregated statistical data on the application of harmonized prudential measures.
This allows the arrangements of the supervisory authorities of the various Member States to be compared.
