The President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, will be present today at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome for the opening ceremony of the exhibition "The currency of united Italy: from lira to euro". The Governor of the Bank of Italy, Mario Draghi, and Professor Gianni Toniolo will address the gathering. Attendance is by invitation only.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 5 April.
