'Meet the Bank of Italy' in Turin and Naples

'Meet the Bank of Italy' is an initiative aimed at raising public awareness of the tasks and functions of Italy's central bank, also in light of current economic events.

This itinerant project begins with the meetings of Turin and Naples, both devoted to financial sector stability and consumer protection in banking and financial services.

Banking supervision is a complex and multifaceted activity which is necessary to preserve the stability and efficiency of the financial system. In these two meetings we will talk about how banking supervision works, we will illustrate the mechanism for resolving banking crises, and we will explain the instruments and initiatives that institutions use to promote consumer protection in banking and financial services.
