€-coin indicator: February 2016

The €-coin indicator remained fairly stable at high levels in February (0.47 compared with 0.48 in January) after three consecutive increases.

The favourable contribution of the exchange rate was offset by the effects of the continuing weakness of price growth and by the unfavourable trends emerging from business and consumer surveys.
