The Bank of Italy publishes analytical information on the balance sheets, range of operations and risk of banks and financial intermediaries on its website in the Statistics section of its website under Banks and financial institutions. This page contains a link to the Bank Lending Survey and the Survey on Exchange and OTC Derivatives.
Once a year, the Bank also publishes its Survey on the cost of bank accounts (only available in Italian), which estimates the cost to households of holding a current account, taking into consideration the charges and fees – separately from any interest – effectively paid during the reference year.
