The second Bank of Italy conference on Macro modeling in the policy environment took place in Rome on 30 June - 1 July, 2009. This year topic was: Economic policy design in times of global crisis. The conference provided a forum for discussing a wide range of theoretical and empirical issues relating to the development of macro models, including DSGE models, with focus on applications to current policy issues.
