New increase in €-coin in October

In October, the €-coin indicator rose to 0.38 (from 0.34 in September), with a strengthening of the growth trend under way since June.

This largely reflects the improvement in consumer and business confidence levels, as well as the continuing favourable conditions on the financial markets.
