Global Money Week 2019

The Bank of Italy will take part this year too in Global Money Week, a campaign designed to educate young people on money matters, promoted by Child & Youth Finance International and supported by the OECD. From 25 to 31 March, the Bank will organise some 30 events around the country in which more than 2 thousand students will take part. The youngest will learn the rudiments of economics through age appropriate games, while the older children will be shown films on different subjects. In Rome, Professor Marco Onado will be present at the viewings to answer questions.

'Learn. Save. Earn.' is the  slogan of this global campaign, previous editions of which have reached 32 million children and youngsters in more than 150 countries.

The Bank of Italy has been engaged for many years in financial education projects for young people, because skills acquired at an early age help people make better financial decisions later in life.

By invitation only.
