Application of European regulation (Supervisory disclosure)

Community provisions require the national supervisory authorities to publish, using the common model provided by the guidelines issued by the European Banking Authority (EBA), information on:

  • supervisory regulation;
  • the manner of applying, at national level, the scope for discretion provided for in Community legislation;
  • criteria and methods for the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP);
  • aggregate statistical data on the application of the harmonized prudential provisions.

This makes it possible to compare the procedures adopted by the supervisory authorities of the various member states.
