Public consultations

Law 262/2005 on the protection of savings requires the Bank of Italy to present new regulations and revisions of existing legislation for public consultation.

The documents are published in this section of the website. Everybody normally has 60 days to send comments and proposals.

At the end of each consultation the Bank of Italy publishes a report on the observations received and its considerations, together with the final version of the text. Material that remains available on the Bank's website.
