The transformation of local production systems

The conference on "The transformation of local production systems", organized by the Bank of Italy and the Department of Economics, University of Bologna, has been held on 31 January and 1 February, 2012, in Bologna, at the Faculty of Economics.

The conference looked at the characteristics and evolution of local production systems in Italy in relation to the profound changes and the large external shocks of the last fifteen years. The conference ended with a round table with representatives of firms, banks and public institutions.
