Family Economics and Human Capital in the Family

The workshop has been jointly organized by The Bank of Italy, and the Economic Research Center of the University of Chicago leaded by Prof. James Heckman.

Both economists of the Bank of Italy and members of the academic community were involved in the initiative.

The issues covered during the workshop regarded the economic analysis of the interaction of the members of the family and the formation of human capital in the family.

These issues were analyzed both from a micro and a macro prospective.
