Fifth Bank of Italy-Ministry of Foreign Affairs Conference

On Tuesday 27 March the Bank of Italy hosted its traditional gathering of the Bank's delegates abroad and financial attachés at the Bank's headquarters in Rome.

This fifth annual encounter, organized jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, brought together distinguished representatives of Italian governmental institutions, economic ministries, and the business and financial community.

This year's themes were the sovereign debt crisis in Europe, its repercussions elsewhere and how it is perceived internationally; the Italian economy and the Bank of Italy's survey on the internationalization of Italian firms; and the geo-political situation in the Mediterranean and the Middle East and its economic effects..
