This section contains detailed data on the operations of banks and non-bank financial intermediaries, the distribution of credit and interest rates.
Since 30th November 2011 the information published in this section in the “Credit statistics province by province” has been released as monthly tables in the Statistical Bulletin included in the on-line Statistical data base (BIP on-line).- Monetary, banking and financial statistics
This section contains monetary, banking and financial market statistics and financial accounts data prepared by the Economic Research and International Relations Area. It also contains data on Italian households’ wealth and on OTC financial and credit derivatives.
- Survey on Exchange and OTC Derivatives coordinated by the BIS
This section contains the results of:
- the triennial survey of the volume of transactions (turnover) on foreign exchange markets and on non-regulated OTC Derivatives markets. The data were collected by the main banks operating in Italy;
- the semiannual survey of consolidated positions in OTC derivatives contracts of the major Italian banking groups.
