Opening ceremony

On 4 April, in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "The currency of united Italy: from lira to euro" was held at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome. The Governor of the Bank of Italy and Professor Gianni Toniolo addressed the gathering.
