Historical research papers (Quaderni dell'Ufficio Ricerche Storiche) - Publication suspended

The purpose of the Quaderni dell'Ufficio Ricerche Storiche is to promote the circulation of working papers prepared within the Bank of Italy or presented in Bank seminars by outside speakers with the aim of stimulating comments and suggestions. The views expressed in the articles are those of the authors and do not involve the responsibility of the Bank.

Following the reorganization of the Economic Research functional area economic history working papers are now produced by the Structural studies department of the Bank of Italy. The new denomination of the series is Economic History Working Papers - Quaderni di Storia economica.
