Interactive exhibition 'The ideas behind the banknote: creativity, technology and security'

On 25 November at 6 pm at Villa Huffer, Via Nazionale 191, Rome, the interactive exhibition La Banconota delle idee: creatività, tecnologia e sicurezza will open to the public.

Visitors to the multimedia installation are invited to discover the secrets of the new €20 banknote, which goes into circulation today, and learn more about printing technologies, the banknote’s new features and safeguards against counterfeiting.

The exhibition includes a section showing the entries of the students who took part in the second competition to design a banknote on the theme of ‘Feeding the planet, Energy for life’.

The exhibition will be open to the public daily from 10 am to 7 pm and runs until 6 January 2016,. It will remain closed on 24-25-26-27-31 December 2015 and 1 January 2016. Entry is free of charge.
