European Banking Supervision - SSM Traineeship Programme

The European Central Bank (ECB) has launched the second edition of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) traineeship programme, which promotes the training of young talent in specific skills relating to banking supervision with a view to contributing to the creation of a common European supervisory culture.

The programme starts on 1 October 2017 and gives young university graduates the opportunity to further their career choices by spending 12 months working in the Single Supervisory Mechanism and being directly involved − under the supervision of a mentor − in the activities carried out by Joint Supervisory Teams in one or two national competent authorities.

Young graduates who have not already been a trainee at the ECB or worked for the ECB or with no more than twelve months of professional experience are eligible to apply by 31 January 2017 by filling out the application form available on the ECB website at: https://www.ecb.europa.eu/careers/vacancies/html/vacancydetails.en.html?id=005056853E201ED6ACE184FB30F317D4
