The selection of photographs from the Historical Archive presented here is strictly indicative, serving only to give an idea of the variety of the collection. The photos, with their captions, are divided by theme, as in the list of categories: events, portraits, work instruments and workplaces, recreational activities, buildings, and finally banknote counterfeiting.

Selected examples from the Textual Records
What follows is a selection of significant textual records conserved in the Historical Archive of the Bank of Italy. The selection in no way exhausts the great variety of the collection; it comprises important sources for the history of the Bank’s institutional and functional development plus others of clear illustrative value.
