Workshop: "Macroprudential analyses and supervision"Rome, 19-20 October 2017

The global financial crisis has shown the need to develop and improve macroprudential analysis methodologies and tools in order to promote financial stability. The workshop will focus on some aspects of the methodology and application of the Italian and EU framework for macroprudential analysis and supervision.

The programme includes: an overview of the Italian and EU framework for macroprudential supervision; macroprudential analysis tools, with a focus on the risks to the real estate market; macroprudential policy tools: the countercyclical capital buffer; system-wide (macroprudential) stress tests.
