IT Innovation and Development Department

Head - Omero Papi


The department designs and develops IT applications and services, processing infrastructures, network and security systems, and solutions for end users, providing technical support to the Bank's domestic and international activities.

It analyses the IT demand of the Bank's organizational units and helps to draw up the roadmap for innovation; it builds the portfolio of IT initiatives. It is responsible for the integrity, confidentiality and availability of IT resources.

The department promotes interbank automation and acts as secretariat for the Interbank Convention on Automation (CIPA).
